Terms of Service

Last updated: June 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Cander, Inc. ("Cander," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using canderhq.com, the Cander mobile applications, or any related service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Who can use Cander

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Cander. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Your account

You're responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at support@canderhq.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Reviews, testimonials, and case studies

Cander hosts user-generated reviews, testimonials, and case studies. When you post content, you affirm that:

  • The content reflects your honest, first-hand experience with the business.
  • You have not been paid or otherwise incentivized to post.
  • You own or have the right to share the content, including any photos, video, or quoted material.
  • The content does not contain defamatory, harassing, hateful, deceptive, unlawful, or sexually explicit material.

Cander does not edit the substance of reviews, but we may remove content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the Service.

5. License to your content

You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant Cander a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

6. Business profiles

Businesses may claim and respond to reviews on their Cander profile. Business responses are public and must comply with these Terms. Businesses may not offer compensation in exchange for positive reviews, threaten reviewers, or attempt to suppress honest negative feedback.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Posting fake, paid, or coerced reviews — whether positive or negative.
  • Scraping, copying, or republishing Cander content without our written permission.
  • Interfering with the Service, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or probing for vulnerabilities outside our published disclosure program.
  • Using the Service to violate any applicable law or third-party right.

8. Intellectual property

The Cander name, logo, design, software, and all materials we provide (excluding user content) are owned by Cander or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for Cander, or if we discontinue the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Cander disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that reviews are accurate, complete, or current — they are the opinions of the people who posted them.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cander and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Cander harmless from any claim, demand, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Cander consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
